Elisha Ong

I'm a designer and builder. I make the interface between intent and the physical world before the category has a name. Born in Singapore, now based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

At DoorDash I was Design Architect and Strategist, shaping 0–1 bets and system redesigns across merchants, dashers, consumers, and autonomous drones. I co-created Zesty on the bet that food discovery becomes agentic, not searched.

Before that, I was a founding designer for New Mobility at Uber, later Head of Design. Uber's first multi-product line beyond rides: bikes, scooters, transit.

I co-founded Burpple across Asia, before everyone scrolled for dinner. I started at Qik, defining mobile video chat before FaceTime.

Outside work I ski, hike, and camp, or talk over coffee about football and Japanese architecture.

A clay still of a snow-loaded pine stand, a lodge on the hillside, and dusk peaks.
